RESEARCH
I'm a trained architect and urban designer with a broad international experience. For over 5 years I have worked as pro bono a architect in designing rural infrastructure and projects in Kenya. With an extensive experience in participatory place making I am currently preparing my PhD proposal. In my research I want to use inhabitant capacity evaluation to make resilient communities in European apartment block communities, where residents improve their built environment based on their own capacities. This made me a good candidate to tutor students in their efforts to articulate interventions on Mt Elgon in Kenya, where I'm currently appointed as a research assistant of the PhD project of Michiel Smits
