ARCHITECTURE and INTERIORS
The assignment entailed the design of the extension of the Oude Dijk monastery in Tilburg and redesign of it's interior. It will function as a shared house for elderly sisters. I was mainly responsible for visualisations, presentations and interiors. Design and technical drawings were made together with the team.
The monastery is beautiful and monumental building which required special sensitivity when designing the extension. The new wing has thus calm and elegant form corresponding with the old. Garden is planned is a safe but stimulating way - both for sisters with physical and mental disabilities.

For this design the crucial issue was the context. Town of Kartuzy wanted to restore the railway station which needed to have a volume and shape of historic building (demolished after second world war).
No documentation of the old the building exists (the only left over source were old post cards). Thus a shell has been designed with modern interior detached from the outside. URBAN PLANNING
This very complex and vast assignment consisted of: design of public spaces and functions (integration and creationf of network of squares, streets, parks, ‘green pockets’, pedestrian promenade, commercial centre for science, touristic tramway); new traffic organisation including bicycle path system, 30 zone in residential areas; design for shared courtyards of housing quarters; historic tenement houses renovation.
The design of each of 53 quarters included semi-public inner courtyards capable of serving inhabitants of all ages with: entertainment and relaxing space infrastructure: parking (underground or in shared garages), garbage disposal, street ligthing

The square holds two main functions: recreational and representative(for official events. The assignment consisted of tree inventory, the renovation of the square, setting the spot for the planned monument, planning of the new greenery and illumination.
The square needed to keep layout similar to existing one due to opinion of citizens, very old spruce trees under preservation and zone being an urban historical site.
The design was planned for realisation thus detailed drawings have been made in all branches: architecture, landscape, road, electricity and sanitation(drainage). My responsibilities were the design, technical drawings for architecture, coordination.

The assignment encompassed two concepts for the revitalisation of the neglected shore of the Vistula river in the district of Bydgoszcz -Stary Fordon. Main tasks: connecting the town with its shore, making it public recreational zone; planning both the road and (bicycle)paths system together with educational route in nature.
Main difficulties were: the danger of flooding and nature under governmental protection (birds, amphibians and insects). My involvement in the design was mainly in developing bicycle and educational routes (in nature allowing humans in without disturbing wildlife) and making connections to the town on the steep slopes; technical drawings; making adjustments; graphics for master plans and other drawings (sections, schemes, etc.)

The project of urban integration of district that for the city is currently more of a burden than a value. The neighbourhood of the railway which are something of the no man’s land.
It’s being used only in small percentage, but it’s placed in very important place, being the crossroad between the districts which are completely separated. They are making no connections in between themselves in either functional, spatial or communicational. They don’t have common character only the penetrating sense of chaos, ugliness and carelessness.

The theathre square in Radom regardless its city centre location remains one of the most neglected public spaces in town. It has great potential due to its size, shape, location and neigbouring functions- theratre, park, shopping street. My goal in design was to enhance the values currently found on the spot to transform the space into the Place. The place in which inhabitant would want to stay at.
The assignment included the design of the fountain and small architectural obcjects.

Graphics and cooperation with the design of the master plan of the new development site on Mt. Elgon in Kenya, (design of the MWMarchitecture). Vast area (>40ha) consist of varied social functions: hospital, orphanage, primary and secondary school, vocational training centre, dorms and staff houses.
